Have Your Say

Corona Virus - Information from Public Health England

With all the road works in and around Dover this month, please allow plenty of time to travel for your appointment.  We can not guarantee you will be seen if you arrive late.

With patient’s needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations. If you have any further queries you can email kmicb.pencester@nhs.net however, this is not a means to book appointments, you either need to telephone the surgery or sign up to Patient Access to be able to book appointments online. If you need to request a prescription or continuation sick note we ask that you use the email pencesterscripts@nhs.net to do this. There are links to both of these sites  throughout the website and both inboxes are monitored regularly to help makes us as accessible as possible.  We have access to Enhanced Services and can book you in to see health care professionals, in the evenings and at weekends at Buckland Hospital.

Feedback

Feedback is important for us to keep improving our services and the care you receive. If you would like to complete our patient satisfaction survey please do so on the Online Services page, or click here.

This surgery is always interested in hearing what our patients have to say about our services and we do have our Patient and Public engagement group which you might like to join.  But did you know that Total Health Excellence Primary Care Network has a large Public, Patient and Partner Engagement Group?  This group  enables local people to have a group voice directly to the decision makers alongside other health and social care organisations.  The surgery is in touch with groups' discussions and the outcome of meetings on a regular basis.  If you would like to be part of this group or to have an input of any kind,  please contact our Engagement Lead .. by email to isabel.woodroffe@nhs.net and see how you might be able to become involved.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

The NHS is offering a weight management service, if you would like some help and advice to loose weight, please make an appointment with one of our health care assistants.  They will record an up to date weight and height to calculate your current BMI and we will then refer you on to the Weight Management Service.
